Tour del Fuego
This is one of the greatest tours we offer.
Where else can you experience Argentina this way. The senses will be pushed
to their limits for this one.
Tour del Fuego starts at the airport of San Carlos de Bariloche where we be
for the next few days hitting the slopes of Catedral Ski Resort. One of South
Americas largest ski areas, Catedral is hard to beat. Between our flight to
the southern most ski area in the Americas , we will spend an exciting night
in Buenos Aires . Its not over yet! Next its on to Ushuaia , Argentina . Ushuaia
and its ski area Cerro Castor is a town beyond words and explanation. Situated
at the bottom of the Americas , this secret is just now being discovered.
This is truly a comfortable ride. We will be staying in nice hotels and eating
at the best restaurants. Come see why Snovango Ski Tours knows it better than
anyone else.
Itinerary: Tour del Fuego
Day 1: (Saturday) We will be waiting for you just outside customs at Buenos Aires' International Airport (EZE). From here we will transfer to the Jorge Newberry National Airport and board our flight for San Carlos de Bariloche. From here we will drop off our ski gear at the hotel and head up to the slopes of Catedral for the rest of the day. The restaurant tonight will tantalize your taste buds every wish. Saturday night in one of the greatest party towns around.
Day 2: (Sunday) A day of skiing on Catedral. Before the 2004 season, this mountain was divided in half. Since then, the two ski areas have joined to become one of the biggest in South America . Tonight we will feast at one of our most favorite restaurants.
Day 3: (Monday) Another huge mountain day on the slopes of Catedral. Can you believe we have to leave this great place. But it just gets better!
Day 4: (Tuesday) Lets get in a half day before heading for the airport. We believe you will be back. Its off to the Town of Tango! Ready for one of the best Filet Mignon's in the world? This town never sleeps… even on a Tuesday.
Day 5: (Wednesday) Well, lets hope we all survived the night! Today we will check out the famous Recoleta sector of town before heading to the airport. We should arrive in Ushuaia just in time for a sunset on the Beagle Channel. Can you believe the history of this place?
Day 6: (Thursday) Good morning from the end of the Americas. The slopes of Cerro Castor are amazing. If you have ever dreamed of Tierra del Fuego you have finally found it. Tonight we will be enjoying great food down at the waterfront.
Day 7: (Friday) Up and at ‘em. We are off to the resort and hopefully hitting some freshies. Its Friday night and we will let you discover the town on your own with its many restaurants and pubs.
Day 8: (Saturday) Big day on the slopes of Cerro Castor. Ushuaia is a place beyond explanation. The town with its sea under surrounding peaks and valleys are reminiscent of Alaska .
Day 9: (Sunday) Well, we will be heading back to the airport today to wrap up the tour unless we can swing a couple hours up at Cerro Castor. We hope it was the experience of a life time and that you will be back soon.
